This website is run by Scissors Professionals Unisex Luxury Salon, Kolapakkam branch, No 1, Sri Mahalakshmi Nagar, 1st Main Road, 1st Street, Kolapakkam, Manapakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600128. Scissors Professionals is a franchise brand; this policy covers this website and the way our Kolapakkam salon handles the information you give us through it.

We handle personal information in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

• Enquiry form details. On the Contact page you can enter your name, mobile number, the service you are interested in, a preferred date and time window, and an optional message.
• What you tell us directly. If you call, email, message us on WhatsApp or Instagram, or visit the salon, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, number and the service you want.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically processes standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver and secure the website.

We do not ask for payment card details, government ID numbers or health records on this website.

The form does not save your details on this website or send them to a server of ours. When you press the button, your browser opens WhatsApp with a message already written from what you entered. Nothing is sent until you choose to send that message in WhatsApp. Once you do, the message is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy, and by us as the recipient.

The salon confirms the appointment by phone or WhatsApp. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking until we confirm it.

This website does not set its own cookies, does not use advertising trackers, and does not run analytics. Fonts, images and videos are served from this website, not from third parties.

The one exception is the map on the Contact page, which is a Google Maps embed. When that page loads the map, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings; the rest of the site works either way. If we add analytics or other tools in future, we will update this page first.

• To reply to your enquiry and confirm or change an appointment.
• To provide the services you ask for at the salon.
• To keep the website secure and working.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with:

• service providers that make this website and your enquiry work: Vercel (hosting), WhatsApp (messaging) and Google (the map on the Contact page);
• authorities, where the law requires it.

Links to Instagram and other sites take you off this website; their own policies apply there.

We keep enquiry messages and appointment details only for as long as we need them to respond to you, run your appointment and meet legal requirements, and then delete or archive them. Hosting logs are kept by Vercel under its own retention practices.

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or complete it;
• erase it, unless we must keep it by law;
• stop using it, if you had agreed to us using it and now withdraw that agreement.

If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

This website is meant for adults. Children's services such as kids' haircuts should be enquired about and booked by a parent or guardian, and we treat any details given as coming from them.

The website is served over HTTPS. No online service is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as card numbers or passwords through the enquiry form or WhatsApp.

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be made clear on the website.
